Ghostly Vocal Sounds

SMARTBoard Music Lesson: Ghostly Vocal Sounds

Halloween is the perfect time to explore Ghostly Vocal sounds! Here is a simple SMARTBoard Music Lesson and vocal exploration activity for young children.

Follow the path to make Ghostly Vocal Sounds

Decide on the vowel sound that you want your students to use as they trace the path of the ghost in the air and follow along with their voice. As the baby ghost flies higher and higher, the voices follow. I’ve used it for pitch as well as dynamic changes.

This SMARTBoard Music Lesson for Halloween has been kid-tested and declared fun!

This lesson, Ghostly Vocal Sounds, can be purchased in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store.

Boo!

I am about to start a unit on music and sound science with my 3rd graders. This will be a fun and festive example; thanks for the great resource!
