Funny MadLips Examples for Music Room

MadLips is a very cool app!

There is a free version with time limits and picture limits. The paid version is $2.99 and well-worth the money. The possibilities are endless.

Description:
Rated ★★★★★! Mad Lips is a fun, quick, and easy video-editing program. Transform your pictures into talking video animations. Choose a photo, record a video of yourself saying something
silly, and place your talking lips on that photo. That’s it. It works every time.

It comes preloaded with funny faces, clever things to say, and goofy voice effects. All you need to do is resize your lips and adjust blending levels. Email your friends. Share your creations on Facebook and even Mad Lip your friends’ Facebook profile pictures. Or just save the videos for your own personal entertainment. It’s all built in.

Here are a few ways I’ve been using MadLips in my school setting: Tell me what you think!!

I’ve just been having fun trying out the MadLips app… nothing too serious or official yet… I”m just dreaming of all the fun ways I can use this app to introduce a lesson, make an announcement, or just have fun.  I’ve linked these short YouTube videos to QR codes and posted them on the Music Memory wall. My students can scan the QR codes for the composer introduction and also the musical work we are exploring. Who could ever forget a talking composer…. especially if they are a bit off the wall! I don’t mind if you/ they laugh at me.. sometimes we have to live on the wild side and forget our pride and just go for it!!

Yippee!

I teach elementary music, am passionate about integrating technology into my teaching, am obsessed with my SMARTBoard and iPad, and enjoy creating lessons and sharing ideas. I love technology almost as much as I love cheesecake, and with more energy and ideas than I know what to do with, I can't wait for the sun to come up each morning! I'm wife to Prince Charming and mom to three incredible girls who keep me balanced. . . sort of!
